We acquired it from a deceased estate, so nobody knows any background history to it, so basically, what you see is what you get.
Triple axle 2 wheel drive
V8 diesel engine with 4 speed manual floor shift.
51500 miles recorded (not guaranteed as we have no documented history with it)
Last taxed in 2013
UK registered in 1989, but declared manufactured 1980 on the V5. 2 former keepers. Not sure which date they use for MOT and tax exemptions - if its 1980 you will be okay soon.
Has a separate rear shower room/toilet and rear kitchen with hob, cooker, sink, fridge freezer etc.
Roof mounted storage box - now minus its lid after the recent storms.
The engine has had some ancillaries removed - we don't know why they were taken off so cannot advise what, if anything, is wrong with them. Some parts are
inside the vehicle, but we cannot guarantee they are all there.
Clutch and brakes work as far as we can tell in getting it off the lorry that brought it to our yard.
Tyres are okay, but one has a puncture and is off the rim. Good spare.
Few minor bits of body damage as shown in the photo's. but its basically pretty straight. Underneath looks okay as far as we can see without a ramp.
Bonnet is rusty and not attached to the truck so will need repair or replacement
The interior appear complete and untouched - but it does need a GOOD clean out and is probably worse than it looks in the photos, so be prepared to get
the Marigolds out!
It has been parked outside, so it is a bit damp internally, but there is no obvious sign of major water leaks, but I am not guaranteeing its perfect.
24ft long overall, by 7ft 6in wide. Body is 14ft long without the cabover section.
Walk through from the living area to the cab.
Definately worth saving. Especially as its a diesel with a proper gearbox - you might actually be able to afford to drive it. The few similar ones we have seen
advertised in restored condition seem to be north of £20k so masses of margin to do whatever it needs
Will need a lorry to take it away, with a winch to load it, so please bear that in mind before committing to buy.
Also note we are on the Devon/Cornwall border, which is a long way from anywhere, so cost that in as well.
